## Practical information

###

                                    Parking

There is free parking right in front of the Entrance Centre, including disabled parking spaces close to the entrance.
There are two electric charging stations in the museum car park, owned by the Langeland Electricity Supply Fund.

The following apps can be used at the stations:

Ionity app
Spirri Go app
Northe app
Plugsurfing app
Shell Recharge
Monta app
Norlys opladning 2.0 app
etc.

The Clever app is an exception, as it has a different business model, with free charging for a fixed price.

Open your app and if the charger can roam (be used) with the app, it can be found in the app to start charging.

###

                                    Admission and tickets

Tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the Entrance Centre – it is not necessary to book in advance.

The entrance is wheelchair accessible via ramps.
Ticket sales close 1 hour before the museum closes.

###

                                    Payment

We accept:
Danish cash, MobilePay, Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and Euro banknotes.

###

                                    Wheelchair and trolley loan

You can loan a wheelchair or trolley free of charge at the Entrance Centre (first come, first served).

###

                                    Transportation on the museum grounds

The fort is located in a scenic and hilly area with both asphalt and gravel paths. The grounds cover approximately 2 km, and there are some steep hills in certain places.

###

                                    Accessibility in bunkers and exhibitions

Several exhibitions are located in bunkers with stairs and are therefore not fully accessible by wheelchair.

The submarine is accessible, as it is possible to drive into the side of the submarine. Here you can look down through the submarine, but it is not possible to get around inside with a wheelchair.

The ammunition bunker has plenty of space, but the door is only 70 cm wide.

The fighter plane, minesweeper and special exhibitions are located in halls with good access.

The staff are happy to help if needed.

###

                                    Food and shop

In the Entrance Centre, you can buy coffee, ice cream, drinks, books and souvenirs.

The fort's hot dog stand and/or sales cart is open daily during the high season (weeks 27-32) and on selected days otherwise. Here you can buy hot dogs, paninis, soft drinks, ice cream, coffee, etc. You can pay by card or MobilePay.

You are also welcome to bring your own food and enjoy it on the premises.

###

                                    Toilets

Toilets are located at the Entrance Centre and at the round arch halls.

Both locations have disabled facilities.

###

                                    Dogs

Dogs are welcome on the premises as long as they are kept on a leash. Remember to clean up after your dog.

There are water stations in several locations at the Fort.

You can look forward to an experience steeped in history – and nature.
