# Find your way

## How to find your way to Langelandsfortet

Langelandsfortet is beautifully situated in the middle of nature on the southern tip of Langeland, close to Bagenkop. The museum is easy to reach – whether you come by car, bicycle or public transport.

                                    By car

From Rudkøbing: Follow the road south towards Bagenkop. The fort is located a few kilometres before the town and is clearly signposted from the main road.

There is free parking at the museum.

                                    Public Transport

Bus services from Rudkøbing and Svendborg stop at the main road. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the fort.

                                    By bike or on foot

Langelandsfortet is located on scenic trails along the coast, perfect for a bike ride or hike with history as your destination. The shortest and easiest route from Bagenkop to Langelandsfortet is via the country road. Alternative routes – for example via Vognsbjergvej – are longer, but the trip is more scenic and takes you through the open countryside around the fort.

Follow the signs and the historical atmosphere – soon you will be standing in front of one of Denmark's most authentic Cold War museums.
